Can I configure SMTP & POP3 on Exchange 2000

Hi

is there a guide someone can direct me to that shows how to setup SMTP & POP3 on an exchange 2000 server?

reason being is that I want to configure OUTLOOK 2000 clients to send receive email by using pop3 and smtp

thank you for this excelent site lipstick but I still cant figure out how I can setup a pop and smtp that i can give out for people to outlook to
