I'm loading an image from a byte array in to a memory-stream and then creating a thumbnail from it using the 'GetThumbnailImage' method

Everything works fine except hte background color of this thumbnail image turns out - black ...

I've png, gif, jpg formats to support and the images are heavy so i need their thumbnails ... but not with BLACK- background ...

Any ideas ...

What does a "black background" mean for a JPEG for example? The JPEG has information about every pixel, so there is no "background". What exactly becomes black?

JPEG does not have transparent pixels. GIF has, I don't know about PNG. But if you get black pixels with all of them, maybe the problem is another one...
