attachment of PDF does not show icon...?

I have a user running Notes R5 and when they go to attach a document to a new memo it does not show an icon for a PDF document.  For Word, Excel, PowerPoint, GIF, JPG and all others it shows the icon and the name of the file, but for some reason it does not show the PDF icon...I have uninstalled Notes and reinstalled and no success.  Any suggestions?

Does the icon show correctly in explorer for PDF files?  Notes gets it from the same place.

Also, that icon is not created dynamically.  As the file is attached, Notes creates the image from the Explorer information.

Finally, is it no icon or just the default gray one?

The .PDF icon looks fine in Explorer.

There is "no" icon that shows up, just the name of the file.

Are you running it on XP, then it has lot of issues :-)

Thanks!  All I had to do was change the screen resoltion to 16bit on the client machine and it fixed it!
