Spreadsheet 10.0 Componenet / VBA / List Validation

Using VBA with MS Excel you can select a row and then set it to use a range for list style validation (restricting the list to the values in the range) allowing for a dropdown style box.

MS Excel also supports autofill on previously entered text.  I heard you could prefill the column in question with the range you are confining the dropdown cell to and then delete the items in question to have something simalar to and access dropdown (autofill / hinting).

Can list validation be assigned to a Spreadsheet 10.0 control.  Can a autofil list be populated for the control?

I am using the control in an access form to pipe out information into a spreadsheet for easier updating / addition.  Yes I got tired of the funny little boxes and want to use a spreadsheet to type in my data.

As far as to the why not just use Excel?  I don't want to hassle with the import and export to get a quick manipulation done.

Anyway thanks ahead,
Geoffrey
