I am running windows XP Pro and Office 2003 and when I try to setup my PC to access my exchange server I get the following error.  

"The specified default folder could not be opened.  Please make sure you can access your default store and try again".  

Server Specs:
  Windows 2000 Server (SP4/All Updates)
  Exchange Server 2000 (SP3)

Client Specs:
  Windows XP Professional (SP1/All Updates)
  Office 2003 (All Updates)

This error is typically the result of a corrupted profile. To work around this error, you need to delete the Outlook profile and create a new Outlook porfile.

Outlook 2003:
1. Go to Control Panel -> Mail -> Show Profiles
2. Click on "Add..." and use "MyOutlookOnline" for the Profile Name
3. Continue with the setup instructions for Outlook 2003 - start at Section C, step # 6.
4. Once finished creating the new profile, make sure to select "MyOutlookOnline" under the "Always use this profile."
