boot up problems

Hi,

I noticed one of my servers will boot up to a point where it says "services.exe failed to initialize". At this point i have control of the mouse, but the screen is blank. Is there a simple solution besides re-installing?

Ok,

This is now a closed issue. Since i removed the ActiveX updates in safe mode
