I have used the zone alarm program for 30 days and I went to uninstall programs and uninstalled it.  I must reboot to make the changes take effect.  Ok, good to that point.  Now my questions.  Do I need to go into my computer<program files< and delete the file from this place as well?  Does the trial version leave"tracks" on my hard drive?

To some degree I've found it does. These links contain the locations of all the installed componets for windows 2000 and XP, the "tracks" it leaves are nothing to worry about however.
