Internal Backup Battery is not holding a charge, when Main LiIon battery dies so does the NiMH backup battery and all configuration data. Are the internal backup batteries serviceable and how or do I have to contact HP and jump through their hoops?
I'm sorry to say this, but yes, you will have to contact HP about this, they'll replace it for you. (it costs around $20 so I think you should contact them as $20 is not enough to risk messing up your IPAQ)
Hi Joe!!!!!!!
I believe your unit should be under warranty.......so contact HP tech support and i think this problem should be fixed under warranty :-)
