Help with installing java plugin

I'm trying to install the plugin for java 1.4.2 for a user who is using netscape on a ultra 10 running solaris 8.  We have a global netscape 7 directory which has a plugin for java 1.4.1 (/usr/local/netscape7plugins/libjavaplugin_oji.so), but I only want one user to use the plugin for java 1.4.2.  How can I setup a plugin for just one individual user?  The plugin for java 1.4.2 is located in /usr/local/jdk-1.4.2/jre/plugin/sparc/libjavaplugin_oji.so.

Thanks for any help you can give,

Brian

each user has a .mozilla directory (dot mozilla) or maybe even .netscape in this case

you can create a plugins directory there and set it up like the global plugins directory.  This one will be read first and then it will read the global

if that directory doesn't work go into the directory with his pofile

inside the profile directory there is a random string.slt directory

inside that directory there create the plugins directory and set it up there.

that should cover it.

Right now, I"m splitting time between two offices.  When I return to my 2nd office on Monday, I'll try your suggestion.

Thanks,

Brian
