IIS - FTP problem

Hello!

I have IIS 5 with SP4 installed. At any point FTP Server stop responding, but WWW in working fine. When I try to manualy start the FTP service apers a message:

The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion

What could be wrong. Please Help.

I used to have similar problem with smtp service, and simply uninstall / reinstall the service fixed my problem.
