Dialog editor shows nothing!
Hi,
I am a newcomer to MFC programming, using VS.net 2003.
I was following a book, so I added that dialog resource to an empty SDI application, but the dialog editor won't show a thing, although the book stated that it'd create a dialog box with two buttons.
Is there a catch that I should know? any option has to manually be changed?
The strange thing is, when I try to open existing MFC application with dialogs, they show up, and I can edit them as well.
Thanks in advance.

I just created an empty SDI project in VC++.Net 2003, opened up the resource view, expanded the rc file, right-moused on "Dialog", picked "Insert Dialog", and a new dialog with two controls showed up. If I right-mouse on the dialog I can select "Add class", right-mouse on the control lets me bring up the Event Wizard.
How exactly did you add the dialog resource?

Hi,
Thanks wayside,
I reinstalled my VS.net on a different user account and the dialog editor worked, it's a problem with my windows!
Thanks DanRollins for your help.
