spam filter...

Hi guys,

I am thinking of writing an "intelligent" spam filter. I am using the netscape client to read my email, but  unfortunately, the email filters are very limited and unflexible. You know the spam problem is a real item now. I receive lots of email with words like vi@gra, víágrá, v_i_a_g_r_a, etc. The idea is to write some sort of little language to make a filter really powerful to catch all the variations (as in the viagra example). The problem of writing this kind of language I don't think is a big task...

So, my question is: how I can get the email messages of my inbox to check it with my intellgent spam filter (as soon I write it)... or to interact with the netscape mail client? I was thinking in reading the email messages directly from my account  before they go to my inbox in the netscape client.

Any ideas?
