Using entourage from either office 2001 or office Vx My mail history is very flakey and in some instances has disappeared altogether. how can i get this to work more reliably? i need to be able to see who i have replied to. It is essential.

I understand the history must be held in a local cache file. it seems very unreliable and has no preference within the application.

Another entourage failure. You wouldnt believe how many Outlook Express/Entourage failures folks ask about on EE. I cant encourage you strongly enough to ditch it and use the OS X mail client before worse things happen. Is that a possibility for you?

There are probably ways to fix it. Reinstall etc, but you're just playing with fire. Eventually it's going to do what it's done to most folks asking questions on EE. It's going to hose your database to an unrecoverable stage.

The OS X mail client. Reliable, standard mbox format, fast, etc.
