How to use Java mail API connection listener

hi,
Very urgent..
how to implement connection listener while downloading emails from a imap server.ie I want to get an alert when ever connection to mail server is lost.My program  cntinuesly downloads mails using messagecountlistener.

The implementation of the interface will be your own? When the connection is lost, do whatever you have to do in the disconnected () method.
