Palm Desktop Not Sorting Appointments

Hi All.

Palm m130.  Palm Desktop V4.1.2.

Synchronizes fine.

Go to Month View.  If you have a lot of appointments, there is a little arrow in the upper right side of the day.  If you put your mouse on it, it will open a little box that shows all your appts for that day.  They are not sorting properly.  I can have one for 9:30, one for 10, one for 2, then one for 10:30.  The AM and PM is all fine, it just won't display them properly.  If I go to Day View, there they are sorted properly.  Am I missing something?

I set up a simple test.

I picked on free day and made one appointment an hour.

Testing 7 AM
Testing 8 AM
Testing 9 AM
Etc...
Testing 11 PM

Then I switched to month view and used the drop down. It worked perfectly for me:

I uploaded a screenshot so you can see. I am running Palm Desktop Version 4.1. If you are running an older version i would update the software, maybe it's a bug in the older system.

If not, I would try a simple test like mine and see if it still messes up.

Good luck,
Erik

I hadn't noticed it before, but I've got a similar issue. As far as I can see it is only when I've got a repeating appointment, and they then also show up on the month view out of order even if there are only a couple of appointments in there so that there is no black arrow. Sometimes they are in order, so it's hard to replicate the fault with certainty, and I haven't worked out any pattern.

The only other thing I can see that could be affecting them is that the repeating appointments have characters in the note field inserted by Datebk5 as part of its piggy-backing on the built-in system; if you are also using Datebk5 that might indicate a problem. On the other hand, there's nothing about it over on the Pimlico Software site, and I think I trust them more than I trust Palm...

I have no solution, I think we just chalk it up as a 'feature'...
