Determine Regional Settings through VB Code

Hi,
As you know, SQL statements can become confused when Regional Settings place the Month and Date values in different orders.  I have some Canadian folks using my software and when January 12th is listed as 12/1/2004, it wreaks havoc on my code.

I'm just wondering if the API exposes anything that could help me determine what Regional Settings the user has turned on.  It's a limited scope and I'm not that interested in changing all my SQL statements just for this reason.

Thanks in advance
JM
