MapObjects is ActiveX control, which code work with Delphi, there are not alot of Delphi help, but that's not a problem, you can read all the help for other languages, and use

I took course with ArcGis 8.3, and played a while with their ActiveX, and it's work with me fine with Delphi, but I just tested for small sample, because we use GeoMedia in our organization, but most of their help in VB 6 :-(,

Also there are some VCL components for GIS, which doens't require using any ActiveX, and work fine for windows and web, here some

try this site
it's made using Intraweb with TatukGis
