I've just reinstalled WinXP Professional on my laptop and now when I scroll down any window (IE, Windows Explorer, Outlook, etc) by dragging the scroll bar, the window contents do not scroll smoothly so that I can read while scrolling.  The the scrolling is choppy.  How do I change the scrolling method back to something a little more smooth?

Did you update your video card drivers after reloading?  This can definetly cause scrolling and moving windows problems.

That was the problem, I downloaded an updated video card driver from the manufacturer and now everything seems to be back to normal.  Thanks!
