Hi guys,

I have a Windows 2003 server that is running an Apache web server.
When one of my users tried to create some forms that will send information via e-mail  using Frontapage , she recieved the following message.

FrontPage Error:  This form is being created ona Disk-based web or the FrontPage Server Extensions have not been configured to send e-mail.  Please direct your system administrator or Internet Service Provider to the instructions in 'Setting up E-mail Options in Windows' or 'Setting up E-mail Options in UNIX' in the Server Extensions Resource Kit.  If you do not have the Server Extensions Resource Kit, you can find it at  http://www.microsoft.com/frontpage/wpp/serk.

I have checked ISS on Windows server, and it says that Frontpage server extensions are enabled.
I have to put those pages that are created using Frontapage on a Apache web server directory. And the e-mail feature should work.

I appreciate any help on this issue

Thanks

Are you attempting to access the web via http:// or via drive letter?

Open the disk-based Web in FrontPage, and then publish to a Web server with FrontPage Server Extensions installed.

File, publish web and enter the path of the web server (http://machinename) with the front page server extensions installed.

My web site should reside in Apache directory,
I guess i need to install Frontapage server extensions on Apache server.

Do you think that will work?

By the way i have no idea about how to install FSE on Apache running on a Windows server.

I really appreciate on this issue...

How can i move my website from Apache to ISS by the way?
