Hello,

I have installed 2003 server std.  Router is set to static ip as are the 2 nic's in the server.  DNS and active directory installed and working .  Setup the termonal server works fine.  Setup VPN works fine.  When the vpn nic is enabled you loose the internet connection on the other card.  Any ideas
If you disable the vpn nic the internet works ok.

Thanks

Where is the VPN connecting to? It sounds like when the VPN is enabled its searching for an internet connection through the VPN tunnel.

You could also change the binding order of the NIC cards placing the VPN one at the bottom. That might help.

I think in 2003 its still in Network Connection ==> Advanced menu ==> Advanced Settings.
