Does Evidence Eliminator 5.0 actually work?

Hello,

I am looking for a program that can help me remove unwanted information from my PC without  having to format the drive? Does Evidence Eliminator actually work or is it simply expensive software that does'nt quiet do the job and spies on surfing habits (Spyware). The way it's advertised you would think it's a scam.

The web site www.privacy-software-review.com actually gives it a good review but is the site bought and paid for, if you know what I mean???

I need an honest opinion.

Thank You
John

Everyone should get points since everyone spent their own time giving information.

Five way split anyone ?
Hi:

The asker asked the question "Does Evidence Eliminator 5.0 actually work?" And also asked for a evidence eliminator related program.

So the first question's answer can be both yes and no. Because it's just like an opinion. Second, all the experts gave some softwares name. Here also it is not possible to say which one is perfect.

So, I am totally agree with mrwad99 to split points.

Thanks.

Sure, 5-way sounds good.
Count me in, I like to be part of a crowd   8-)
Out of interest, did anyone read that site I posted above ?  Not disregarding anyone else's comments at all - everyone gave useful info - but that site underlines so many flaws with the manufacturers of the software it really is believable.

Anyone care to comment ?
