Not sure this is the right section but.....

I have been learning to program JSP, but now that i'm trying to run JSP files on my pc i can't manage it, i'm running apache and apache tomcat 5.0.19 but have no idea to configure them, my pc is not currently online though i can download files through another pc and transfer them.

I can't even run the tomcat JSP examples so it's not my programming.

I'm running JDK and JSDK 1.4 but dont know if i have to configure them with apache or anything. Read about changing ports to 80 but don't really understand whats going on.

While awaiting a transfer:
If you're just testing your jsp files, skip configuring and running apache, go for just using tomcat standalone.
If you want to see the tomcat context in the basic config go to http://localhost:8080
