apache web server configuration

i am very new to apache web server. i have installed apache web server on sun fire 280R and it is working. now i want to get applets, servlets and jsp's in my web server but don't know how to do it. is there any other software that i have to install ? if so where will i get it and how should i do it.

if any one could explain me step by step procedure to do all the above stuff that would be a great help for me.

Take a look at Apache Tomcat at http://jakarta.apache.org/tomcat/

There is plenty of site that posted the instruction to get Tomcat+Apache integrated together.
