Copy dat froma stringgrid to a memo

Hi,

I have 2 columns in a stringgrid, I would like to copy the first columns data to memo1, and the second to memo2, how can I do this?

memo1.Lines.Assign(stringgrid1.Cols[1]);
memo2.Lines.Assign(stringgrid1.Cols[2]);

this will pass every cell to memo, also the topmost one....
if you don't need that simply delete it after the assigning
memo1.lines.delete(0);
memo2.Lines.delete(0);

  for i := StringGrid1.FixedRows to stringgrid1.RowCount-1 do
    begin
    Memo1.Lines.Add(StringGrid1.Cells[StringGrid1.FixedCols,i]);
    Memo2.Lines.Add(StringGrid1.Cells[StringGrid1.FixedCols+1,i]);
    end
end;
