Moving mailboxes to new Exchange server

Hi,
when I move mailboxes with Migration wisard to the new
Exchange server 2000 I saw that after trying to retrieve
messages to the client(Outlook 2002) that mailbox on
the server has been overwritten after action Send/Receive on
Outlook.



Can anybody help me?

wht do u mean by over written ? does it mean that it becomes empty ?
Are you able to c the old mails first time you connect ?

I can see messages from OWA on the same server
Exchange 2000,but when I configure a client on
Outlook 2002 and press Send/Receive I can not
retrieve anything.Then I send a test message and
receive it,but my mailbox was overwritten...

Can you help me..

does outlook open your information store ?? can u send any mail from it ?

I can send a test messsage to the same user,but this test message delete
mailbox on the server I saw the size.It looks like that after migration
of users and mailboxes it lost connection ..but I've seen it before config.
of Outlook on OWA,when I log on.

Is it problem with SID?

  If you got to exchange server system manger , can u c all the mailbox there without any red mark ? do u c proper size on all the mailbox .

mailbox on the server << do u mean the mail box is deleted when u send a test message & u cannot acess the mailbox store any more ??
 can you access OWA from a client ?? Do you see all the mails from OWA . If yes then your mailbox store is ok .
  I am still trying to figure out where your problem is . Do you have any error in the eventlogs of your exchange server ? if yes do post them ?

No errors on the server.It is strange..Form OWA I can see this mailbox.

I configure mailbox test@ls.net for example and send to that account test
message,I receive it. But BEFORE this I try to retrieve all messages in test
mailbox and I can not do it even I configure the client and have a plenty of
messages in the mailbox.

When I click Send/receive nothing hapenned.

Shall we try to completely reinstall servers?

Does migration wizard is the best way to move users and mailboxes
to another AD tree ...
