Array backup mismatch....

I backed up Isa configurations 3 days ago.
i has to re install the isa server from scratch.
when i am treying to restore from backup file, i am getting error 0x80040384
"The array configuration cannot be restored since there is a mismatch between the current array configuration and the restored array configuration"
ant way to restore it from file? i hate to think about manual ....

I can't find anything on the MS site about this....
This almost sounds like you are missing an update in the isa server...
that the previous ISA had  installed and because of that the backup files don't match your current ISA server
get the most recent updates and try it again....
Wild guess.....

i spoke with microsoft, they admit that theirISA  backup feature is not reliable and they refer to 3rd parties back up tool.... that's explains.
