I need to know if anyone has encountered this problem.

I am running cftree, created by dir2tree from cfhub.  it works great, however when the applet is loading the java plugin prompts me for the user name and password for the network.

CFIDE is virtual to my web directory permissons have been granted.

once the prompt is up if you close it or say no the box closes and the applet runs fine.

my issue is I don't want or need it to promp for username\pwd.

any suggestions?

Hi jriver12,

Means that there is a directory, file or subdirectory for which the applet does not have permissions to. Try adding Everyone with Full control to the relevant files and directories and this normally fixes the problem.
