can not receive mail after ISA install

i re installed ISa server from scratch and had to apply new rules to publish web and mail servers.
web serveris working OK but the mail server (outlook 2003) only send mail but do not receive.
i published the OWA behind ISA server as per microsoft knowledge base document 290113.
any help before i call to microsoft support for $245...?

Have you published the mail server with the same IP address it used to have ?

Did you allow pop and smtp ports? 110 and 25
