Is it posible to add hareware (in this case a digital camera, which is a "polaroid pdc 3035") without administrator rights?

Hmm, i guess you are using W2k or WinXP. Anyways, go to control panel, Administrative Tools, Local security policy. Go to Local policies, User rights assignment. Find option that says "Load and unload device drivers", it should say only administrators, add user there.
