I have a folder of JPEGS. I select them all, then right click and go to SEND TO then MAIL RECIPIENT.

I choose MAKE ALL MY IMAGES SMALLER.

It goes through each of them but right at the end it fails with the error message OPERATION FAILED.

Even viewer says "Accepted Safe Mode action : Microsoft Office Outlook." and Event ID 2000, Source: Microsoft Office 11.

not sure what version of outlook you are running but see if it has the "detect and repair" feature and try running that.

good luck

A valiant effort on both of our parts, but it didn't solve the problem. I am using OUTLOOK 2003

Two things I recommed trying:

First have outlook open prior to attempting the select and send. If that does not work then

Second you may need to increase your windows page file.

I tried this and my system has 512MB RAM and my page file is set to max @ 768MB. I am running Outlook 2003 and selected 75 jpegs to test. Make sure you have enough hard disk space to support your increase.
