Mac System 7.1 / OS 9 / Windows file splitter

I need a file splitter that will take a 2MB file on a Powerbook 180/Sys 7.1 and allow me to break it into floppy sized pieces so I can move it to a Windows machine (Win98 or above) so I can email it to a Mac OS 9 computer.

Any ideas. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
CB

Hi CB,
File compressors like Stuff-It and MacZip-It both make the file smaller and also allow "segmenting" (so a big file will fit on multiple floppies).
http://www.maczipit.com   (version 1.4 is needed to run on systems before OS 8.6)
http://www.stuffit.com/mac/standard/index.html  You will need an older version than they sell now

Cheers!

What about reconstructing the file on a Windows machine? will these programs allow me to do that?

Stuffit is cross-platform, so you could reassemble on the Windows side.

But I was really assuming that the final assembly would occur on your Mac OS9 machine.
