how to increase the space between panels in a jtabbedpane?

Hi!
I'm stuck on find out how to increase the space between two added panels in a jtabbedpane....as they are horizontally placed I cant see the title of
the other panel, clearly because the first one is blocking it...So the question is how do I increase the space..between their y-coordinates.

Use the Insets to increase the spacing between any component.
