Yes, i bet it was, because i heard a consistent spinning sound from the harddrive and then it just seems that its stuck so i hit the reset button,<br />
now everything runs super slow comparing to what it used to run..<br />
i think i have to download the data lifeguard thing

right now the harddrive is partitioned into two partitions, <br />
I would hate to lose all the information stored on the other partition....

My windows xp has just gone dead!, i was uninstalling visual studio .net and framworks, then i decided to do a restart, so i did.<br />
At the boot up windows went into hardware checking consistency mode and was doing check on my Drive G. but then it got stuck on 21% and would not move <br />
any further, so i decided to restart..<br />
then my windows started going crazy from this moment on, I would be in the starting up windows with the windows logo , then the screen just go BLANK!<br />
yes.. it just goes blank..<br />
So, i decided to just reinstall the windows xp again<br />
but after reinstallation, it still has that problem , i am not sure whats going on cuz now the screen would stay in blank for about few minutes before it goes to the next <br />
screen..<br />
Has anyone known a fix to this problem or know anything about it at all?<br />
