We have a corporate website where employees can download HR forms and other stuff like that, however the site includes personal information and thus requires a password and account for each individual. Is there a way to encode and have the website authenticate with windows so that my staff doesn't need to remember yet another password? I'd like their NT account be their account for everything.

Depending on what version of IIS are you using? Uncheck “Allow Anonymous” and enable “Integrated Windows Authentication” or “Windows NT Challenge and Response” this should allow users web access with their current user name and password.
