reading from a data file to cluster the data

Hi everyone,
Am having a problem with implementing a k-means clustering algorithm in vb.
I'd like to read data from a file into multidimentional arrays .
Then i use the k-means algorithm to cluster the data into clusters.
Could anyone be in a position to give a way ahead?
