Sending Email On Behalf Of A Distribution List
We have an Exchange 2003 setup with Outlook 2003 Clients. Our domain is called abc.com but we also receive mail for xyz.com.
There is a distribution list with an email address of info@xyz.com and i would like members of the distribution list (members are from abc.com) to be able to reply by viewing the From field in the reply email and entering info@xyz.com. This works internally i.e. while masquerading as info@xyz.com i can send an email to someone in the domain but when i try to email outside the domain e.g. to tom@pqr.com i receive an NDR saying I dont have permission to send to this recipient.
I have been scratching my head for the past 2 days and cant get it to work. Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.
