I want to know how to repair a damaged PDF which couldn't open

I have a damaged PDF (acrobat) file that couldn't open
whenever I open it, there is an error "file is damaged, it cannot open"
Please help me and tell me how to repair a damaged PDF file and what program can fix it.

Usually you cannot replair a damaged PDF file. Use the original application and recreate the file.
You can try if you can open it in an older version of Acrobat (e.g. go to Acrobat 5 or 4 if Acrobat 6 tells you that it's damaged). If you are able to open the file with an older version of Acrobat do a "Save As..." and hope that the damaged component will not cause Save As to fail. A "Save" will _NOT_ work, because it will not change the structure of the base PDF document.
