Hi. Thanks RayT. I dunno if your solution'd have worked, 'coz I managed to get the modem working A-OK. It was a COM port installation problem. The port wasn't installed OK.<br />

Heylo. I've just Reinstalled (clean-install) my Win2k on my P2 w/ 128 Ram. Naturally my Conexant HSF modem had to be reinstalled. It worked fine before the reinstallation, but now it is not workin. The &quot;Query Modem&quot; option DOES communicate successfully with the modem, but Phone dialer and Internet Dialups donot seem to be to se the modem. The fone dialer sez that &quot;the device isnot on, or out of order&quot; and dialup sez that &quot;the modem on the remote machine is not responding&quot; even though I've tried out more than 20 different ISPs. I really need help on this one.! I got no points coz my a/c is empty rite now. But An answer would REALLY help! Pretty please!:)
