DataGrid Paging

Hi all experts

I have enabled paging in the datagrid properties box. i am using Visual Studio .NET Professional  on W2003 server. the page loads fine and i can see the first page with data in it - however, where i click on the paging button on the bottom, it just reloads the same data. any known issues with this? I will greatly appreciate your response. Thanks.
