I finally copied the installation disks to the local disk. &nbsp;Now when I run ./runInstaller I get ./runInstaller [35]: &nbsp;cannot execute<br />

I'm using &quot;oracle&quot; as the user. oracle is the owner of all the files and directories. &nbsp;Also changed the file to +x. &nbsp;Still getting cannot execute.

Hello to all the experts, I really need some help with my Oracle 8i installation.  Here is my information.

OS:  hpux-11.11 U 9000/785
Kernel:  64-bit
File System:  Enhanced Journaled File System (JFS-2)


/SD_CDROM/runInstaller

First I get "NFS server not responding still trying" then it says NFS server ok, "Pid killed due to text modification or page I/O error.

NFS is running.  rpc.statd is running, rpc.mountd is running.
