Launch a shell.
launch mozilla by hand :

mozilla-bin

You might be able to see what's wrong.

I just installed all the mozilla rpms like chat ,dev etc
and this seemed to fix the problem
I do not know why because these packages seem more like addon's or accessories to me
but anyways that now seems to get the browser working

If you solved the question then you should put up a request for refunded points.

Also, Mozilla is an integrated set of web tools/accessories which are generally used simultaneously (and therefore likely linked to eachother). When you launch mozilla, all of the additional features are also loaded (mail client, IRC client, web page creator, etc)

If all you use is the browser then its better that you obtain Firefox: http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/

Firefox is a browser-only version of Mozilla which runs only the browser and is also loads faster (due to the absence of all the additions to Mozilla).
