Stay using Offiline files on Slow VPN Connection.
Hi ,
have looked around web and registry to see how to do this.
A User at our company uses offline files/folders...
When online in the office all is well and he syncs when logging off.
When dialed up to the VPN from home ( slow connection ) , Windows 2000 ( SP4) connects to the "LIVE" files/folders.
Any idea how to stay using Offline Files even though connect to Company LAN?
Cheers

On the folder than needs to synchronize go to tools > synchronize > click setup. At this point you can select what items are synchronized using the dial-up adapter and what items are synchronized using the network adapter and other options like when to synchroniza at logon or at logoff, or you can define scheduled tasks.
