I have re-loaded PSP7 time after time.. I do not have a virus.. I have used my internal scanner and also online scanners and they all say my computer is clean. I do not know what to do. Any Help is apreciated.

Here is a clip that I found on the JASC knowledge base that seems to apply.

 - here is a link to the page the clip came from:

_____
Issue
When I try to use certain fonts Paint Shop Pro closes with an error.

Resolution
This issue is a result of a problem with the font and the way Paint Shop Pro is handling it. This has been corrected in Paint Shop Pro 7.04 available at:
http://www.jasc.com/support/updates/.
_______

7.04 is the most up to date upgrade for ver 7.

If upgading does not fix this problem I would suggest that you send it to JASC support.  They are very responsive from my experience.

If you use PSP much, it is worth upgrading to ver 8 - there are TONS of wonderful useful changes.  If you have any doubts about moving to ver 8, you can download it and use it free for 30 days.  There will be a bit of "new version user interface shock" but it wont be long and you never look back.

If you decide to go to ver 8, watch the ads in the paper for a sale on the full version, as there is a $30 rebate in the box if you have an existing version ( you have 7 ).  The upgrade direct from JASC is $49, but I have seen PSP8 on sale here for about $65, so with the $30 rebate it comes to only about #35.

Let me know if 7.04 helps or if you decide to move to 8.
