It Depends on what the Webpage is for{Bussiness, personal etc} Webpages that appeal more to the eyes tend to use softer colors and generally tend to stick to one color scheme. Take for Instance this website has a blue theme. most of every thing is just a light shade of blue.

Is it a Personal or Business Website and does it have a color (Maybe from the log) that it is inclined to.

Hello adecold

Why softer colors? Example: www.msn.com & www.amazon.com
these websites use vibrant colors - this can still be appealing, no?

The website is a personal/business website.

To clarify my question, what is THE best color? (i.e. as a hex code, #XXXXXX )

Hey zorkus

I'd have to say the best color achievable by man would definitely have to be:

#336699

I wont brook any arguments on this topic. #336699 is definitely THE best color! The one and only.
