how to code file attachment tools in lotus application?

Hi all,
I want to provide a file attachment function in my lotus application.
However the file uploader tool from domino only works for web application.
So is there any way I can provide file attachment using other techniques?
By the way i am using R5.

Thanks all.

It's default : there always is a smart icon (the paperclip) available if you are in a richtext field (eg. the mail body field in a memo).  If you don't have your smarticons toolbar activated, it's always possible using File/Attach (again only in richtext fields)

So if you add a richtext field to the form, users can always add attachments.  If you want to give your users a button, put this formula in an action:

@command([editgotofield]; "YourRichTextField" );
@Command( [EditInsertFileAttachment] )

BTW drag-and-drop of files from Explorer to the richtext field also works ....
