Ex Change 2000. HELP ME PLS.

Dear All,
                I'm trying to configure Exchange server 2000. i'm getting error in outlook "Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: '192.9.200.9', Server: '192.9.200.9', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F"

Pls any guid to confiure exchange server.

can you still send emails after you get the message? i used to see that on some client computers, but the email server was linux not ms exchange... to resolve it i applied office service packs and on one client i deselected check for mail at specific time intervals. the client still received mail but stopped getting the termination errors, which i believe were due to multiple sessions being opened and not being terminated properly on the mail server.
