HOW TO READ A TR-3 TRAVAN DRIVE WITH WIN98

Just been handed 4 tapes and an old segate tape drive. The only machine i have lying about is a win98 machine. What software do i need to read this drive.
It is quite old so any help appreciated

Do an eBay (or other online auction) search for Backup Exec, specifically the '98 version. You should be able to find it for $30 or under.

That was the software that came with those drives for 98, and the NT version for NT, etc.

Hardware was the same, I seem to remember, just the software that was different per OS.

You might even find that software at a computer recycler for cheap or almost free.
