Stop sysprep from running on boot

This should be a simple one, but I'm at a loss to figure out how to do this. I ran sysprep on my machine just as a test, and do not wish to complete the process. Never-the-less, it continues to startup everytime I reboot my machine, and I'd like it to NOT startup. Boot's to XP just fine, loads ok, but comes up with the sysprep selection box on every boot. As I said, it was just a test run, and I don't need to complete it. Any ideas? I am sure it's just a simple reg edit or deleting an .inf file, just don't know which edit or file. TIA for your answer.

Try Start-Run-MSconfig and search for it on the startup tab.
It may be in the HKLM (or HKCU) \software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run key

ASKER

Yeah, I have done the obvious solutions, msconfig and checking the startup folder in the start menu, but i'll certainly try the HKLM solution as soon as I get home. Thanks for the quick response, btw.
If memory serves correctly - it's actually in a seperate key in the registry..I was thinking even WindowsNT instead...
I'm not at work now, or else I'd be able to help you further - perhaps another expert will happen along that remembers...(darn this grey matter :(
