Learning VB .net

Hi Everybody...

I am a student teaching myself VB .net. I have not used this latest version of Visual Basic before, but Visual Basic 6. This new version seems to be slightly different than 6.

So if any one knows of any good websites that can assist me...

Cheers

Hi simie_g:

I would go a step further.
This version is a new language altogether!!!
The sooner you realize that this is NOT VB7, the easier it becomes to learn!
It is a steep learning curve, but once you have mastered it, it is very rewarding too!
ON top of the probably excellent links the other experts have suggested, I would like to add my main source of DotNet information, which you already are using and it is EE itself!
If you are not a paying member, I would suggest you spend the few dollars a subscription will cost you, as most questions you may come up with probably have already been asked and answered before. And if it has not, then you can ask yourself!

The search engine here has worked miracles for me!
