BrightStor ARCServe 9 - alert system fails when send test in smtp

hello,


When I configure a SMTP recipient in the Alert Manager and sending a test, it fails - "Failed you send STMP (20)"

Make sure you have the ARCserve 9 updates installed
QO38491 58.9 MB 05/12/03 NT -BRIGHTSTOR ARCSERVE BACKUP V9.01 UPDATE
QO44844 29.0 MB 09/30/03 NT -BRIGHTSTOR ARCSERVE BACKUP V9.01 PATCH 4A
QO51045 8.6 MB 02/25/04 NT -V9.01 DEVICE SUPPORT PATCH 2
 and then there is an update for Alert in the CA eTrust product (Both eTrust and ARCserve use the same Alert)
QO36911 eTrust Antivirus EE 6.0 - NT -ISSUES WITH SMTP ALERT

CA just got rid of support.ca.com and moved it to either esupport.ca.com for channel and supportconnect.ca.com or enterprise clients. From esupport you can get the updates, if not alredy done you will have to registry.
